Frequently Asked Questions

Cannabidiol or CBD is just one of over 85 cannabinoids discovered so far in the cannabis plant. CBD is present in more significant quantities in hemp than marijuana, and because it is non-psychoactive, CBD is widely regarded as the cannabinoid with the most medicinal potential by researchers. CBD interacts with the body’s natural endocannabinoid system to promote homeostasis.

Our Bliss CBD Oil products are derived from the highest grade organically grown hemp and processed using supercritical Co2 extraction to give you the purest CBD extract. We use advanced HPLC testing to ensure quality and safety of our products. The CBD isolates are then mixed with MCT oil for better bioavailability, faster absorption and longer shelf-life.

Most workplace drug screens and tests target delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and do not detect the presence of cannabidiol (CBD) or other legal natural hemp based constituents.

All our hemp crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, so our quality and safety starts with our hemp plants.

From the time our hemp oil is harvested to the manufacturing and shipping of our products, we third party testing our hemp oil to ensure accuracy in potency information and to check for contaminants like pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and mold.

We also use a supercritical CO2 method when we extract our hemp oil, instead of harsh chemical solvents. CO2 is a much healthier choice than other potential solvents and is “generally regarded as safe” (GRAS) by the FDA.

No. Our products are all made with high-CBD, low-THC hemp oil. CBD itself is non-psychoactive, and THC, marijuana’s psychoactive compound, is only present in trace amounts – not nearly enough to cause the high associated with marijuana.

No. Because our products are dietary supplements, there is no need to obtain a doctor’s recommendation or to live in a medical marijuana state to have our products delivered to your door.

However, before beginning any new supplement routine, it is suggested you consult your doctor.

This is a difficult question to answer because our customers find differences in their personally optimal serving size. We suggest you start low and ease your way up to larger servings if desired until you find the daily CBD levels that work best for you.

If you have questions about which CBD product may fit your needs, please contact our customer service department.

Because our CBD hemp oil products are categorized as dietary supplements in the United States, we comply with the FDA’s DSHEA guidelines and cannot endorse any specific medical benefits of CBD or our hemp oil.

We encourage you to browse the thousands of reputable studies regarding CBD published online and talk with your doctor to see if a CBD supplement is right for you.

This will depend on your own personal preference and desired CBD quantities. Have a good read of the product descriptions page to know which of the formulas is compatible with your needs and goals.

Hemp products sold in grocery and health food stores are most often created using hemp seed oil, which can contain only trace amounts of CBD. While it has been noted that hemp seed oil can be a great source of nutrition, its marginal quantity of CBD per weight makes it unfeasible as a CBD supplement.

Our Bliss CBD Formulas however, are extracted from the stalk of specifically selected, high-grade hemp cultivars, offering higher percentages of CBD extract by weight and mixed with MCT Oil for better bioavailability and longer shelf-life.

We DO NOT recommend vaping our Tinctures, as they are not made to be inhaled.

No, there is no need to refrigerate our CBD products.

Domestic orders are typically delivered within one to three business days. For international orders, please allow 7-10 business days to be delivered. When your order ships, you will receive your order’s tracking information, so you can monitor its progress.

Yes, as long as the address is fixed before the item is shipped out we can adjust it for you. If it is not, then we can have it reshipped to the correct address for you for an additional cost.

Coconut contains varying levels of antioxidants or polyphenol levels that can turn both MCT Oil, or Coconut Oil, a little pink. It means your bottle has a high antioxidant content and is completely safe to use!

CBD oil is extracted from the hemp plant. Bliss formula CBD oil is extracted using CO2 and then it is mixed with MCT oil.

CBD is non-intoxicating, so it will not get you high. CBD works with your body's Endocannabinoid System, which is responsible for regulating many bodily functions, but has zero intoxicating effects.

Hemp and marihuana are the same species of plant — Cannabis sativa.

The main difference between hemp and marijuana is the amount of THC they produce. Hemp is any plant that contains less than 0.3% THC by dried weight. Marijuana is any plant containing more than 0.3% THC. Hemp is completely legal in the United States and much of the world, while marijuana is generally considered illegal due to its psychoactive effects.

No, cannabidiol, CBD for short is the non-psychoactive component of hemp oil.

CBD is a very safe substance. Side effects are insignificant. In high doses some may experience tiredness or a change in appetite.

THC and CBD are both cannabinoids derived from the cannabis plant, but they’re different in many ways. THC is the psychoactive compound. CBD doesn't cause that high. Instead, it's thought to work with other elements in the body linked to feelings of well-being.

You can take CBD oil by putting it directly under your tongue and holding it there for a minute before swallowing. That part of the mouth is a capillary-rich area and so the CBD will reach your bloodstream quicker.

Try to keep the CBD tincture under your tongue for 30 – 60 seconds. The longer you can hold, usually the better it will absorb.

CBD enhances the binding of cannabinoid receptors so that our body produces its own cannabinoids, known as endocannabinoids.

Many users of CBD report feeling a very subtle feeling of relaxation, alertness, or mental clarity from taking CBD.

Cannabinoids are a class of chemicals that interact with our endocannabinoid system. There are two main types of cannabinoids:

Phytocannabinoids (from plants)

Endocannabinoids (made by our bodies)

Endocannabinoids are chemical compounds that carry signals between nerve cells (neurotransmitters). The two main identified endocannabinoids are:

-Anandamide aka the Bliss molecule

They help our bodies regulate a number of functions ranging from appetite, sleep, mood regulation, neuro-protection, and immune function.

Cannabinoid receptors, located throughout the body, are part of the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory. There two receptors: CB1 and CB2

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex network of receptors, molecules, and enzymes that work together to help maintain cellular balance, or homeostasis, within our bodies.

Homeostasis is the ability to maintain a relatively stable internal state that persists despite changes in the world outside. All living organisms, must regulate their internal environment to process energy and ultimately survive.

Anandamide Is one of the most important endocannabinoids in our body. It is a THC-like molecule which mimics the relaxing effects of THC.

Ananadamide comes from the Sanskrit word: Ananda which means Bliss; it is called the Bliss Molecule.

Anandamide’s ability to bind to CB1 and CB2 receptors can profoundly impact a host of physiological mechanisms, including appetite stimulation, mood fluctuation, pain management, and even fertility.

Anandamide is a mood enhancer and anxiety reducer.

CB1 preceptors are primary found in the brain and central nervous system.

CB1 receptors seem to influence cognition, memory, motor movements, and pain perception.

CB2 receptors are predominantly found in organs and are associated with a healthy immune system.
